What Is New York Super Week?
New York Super Week is a first of its kind pop culture festival. For one week the entire city of New York will become a playground for super heroes, villains, vampires, zombies, geeks and passionate Fans of all sizes. With different pop culture themed experiences happening in every corner of the City – including concerts, comedy shows, gaming events, lectures, podcasts, storytelling, food tastings and more – New York Super Week is an immersive and inclusive experience that aims to bring the energy, passion and color of the entire universe of popular culture to every corner of all five boroughs of New York City. The event will take place October 5 - 11, 2015 leading into the East Coast’s biggest and most exciting popular culture convention, New York Comic Con.
Who is the organizer?
New York Super Week is another killer event by ReedPOP. ReedPOP also runs New York Comic Con, Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2), Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) Prime, East and Australia, Star Wars Celebration, Special Edition: NYC, BookCon, Oz Comic-Con and UFC Fan Expo.

Does my New York Comic Con Ticket get me into any New York Super Week events?
No, you must purchase separate tickets for New York Super Week events.
If I don’t have a New York Comic Con badge, can I still attend New York Super Week events?
Absolutely. You can buy Tickets for any New York Super Week event even if you don’t attend New York Comic Con.
Is there a single badge/pass I can buy to get into all New York Super Week events?
No. Since New York Super Week venues vary in size from 50-2,500 people, we must sell individual Tickets for each event to make sure everyone can get in. For example, we don’t want 2,000 Fans trying to get into an event at a venue that can only fit 100 people.

It's the one card to rule them all! The New York Super Week Card is your passport to discounts and special offers happening during New York Super Week at dozens of retailers, restaurants and bars across the city ranging from happy hour prices, free desserts, and merchandise discounts to priority seating for select New York Super Week events. How do I get a Ticket for New York Super Week events?
You can grab your New York Super Week Tickets in advance of the events online. A limited number of tickets may be available at the venue the day of the event. We suggest checking with the venue beforehand to make sure! Stay tuned for more info.
What's the Refund Policy?
Once you purchase a ticket it is yours to have and to hold and to cherish… well at least until New York Super Week. Sorry, we don’t offer refunds on any New York Super Week Tickets.
What if I'm harassed?
Harassment of any kind, including but not limited to stalking, deliberate intimidation, unwelcome physical attention, physical assault and battery, will not be tolerated at New York Super Week events. Harassment is grounds for removal from any event without refund as well as potential legal action. We want New York Super Week events to be fun, safe and accepting environments for all Fans, and if you find yourself victim of harassment at the event, please contact New York Super Week Staff, venue Staff or Security immediately. What does New York Super Week think of weapons?
Please read this entire policy before attending a New York Super Week event. Failure to follow this policy may result in your removal from any New York Super Week event without refund.
If you're bringing, buying or selling something that could maim, damage or cause serious bodily harm, we're going to take issue. The following items are forbidden at New York Super Week events:
- Functional firearms (including air soft guns, BB guns, cap guns, paintball guns and pellet guns)
- Realistic replica firearms (including reproduction, fake or toy guns that can be confused for functional firearms)
- Functional projectile weapons (including blow guns, crossbows, long bows, silly string, slingshots, water balloons and water guns)
- Sharpened metal-bladed weapons (including axes, daggers, hatches, knives, kunai, shuriken, swords, sword canes and switch blades)
- Explosives (including firecrackers and fireworks)
- Chemical weapons (including mace and pepper spray)
- Blunt weapons (including brass knuckles, clubs and nunchaku)
- Hard prop weapons (including props made of metal, fiberglass and glass)
- Instruments that cause excessive noise levels like vuvuzelas, grenade whistles and grenade horns
- Whips
- Aerosol mustard
Prop weapons may be allowed for cosplaying provided they are safe and cannot be mistaken for real weapons. Please check with each venue to make sure your prop weapon is allowed inside before bringing it onsite. They may make you throw it out and we'd hate for all your hard work to go to waste if you made it yourself!
Weapons and Bag Check
Each venue will have sole discretion in any matter that it believes may affect public safety or be important to protect the integrity of the event.
Can I take pictures?
For the most part, you're welcome to take still pictures and video at New York Super Week events unless otherwise stated. Please note the specific event venues may have a different policy. Check to see what they allow before bringing any cameras (especially SLR) to any New York Super Week events.
Will I be on camera?
New York Super Week will attract local, national and international press. In purchasing this ticket and in consideration for being admitted to New York Super Week events, the holder consents to being recorded (by audio, visual and/or other means) for exhibition and exploitation by any means in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity. Holder also hereby: (1) releases Reed Exhibitions from any liability for loss or damage to persons or property, infringement of any right or any other claim or course of action of any kind; (2) authorizes and permits Reed Exhibitions and its designees which include but are not limited to all sponsors, exhibitors and contractors to use and authorize the use of his/her name, voice, likeness and all reproductions thereof by any means and in all media now and hereafter know for all purposes worldwide in perpetuity; and (3) agrees to comply with all rules and regulations of the event. Holder agrees not to make any recordings of any kind at designated activities without the express written permission of Reed Exhibitions. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove from the event facilities any person who in our sole and absolute discretion is behaving or threatening to behave in a manner which we reasonably consider to be disruptive of the event.
Will I get to meet the Guests as the events?
Unless otherwise stated, New York Super Week events do not hold any official autograph or photo opportunities. If you happen to find yourself in the position to meet a Guest, please understand that they may or may not pose for photos or sign for Fans.
Remember to be nice!
Please turn your cell phones off or to vibrate when you’re at any New York Super Week event. If you must take or make a call, please step outside.
Is there a coat check?
Some of our New York Super Week venues do provide a coat check. Please check with the venue before bringing any huge items you don't plan on keeping with you at all times. And don't forget to bring a little cash to tip the coat check staff!
Is wi-fi available at New York Super Week events?
New York Super Week will not be providing Wi-Fi at our event venues. Check with the venue directly to see if they offer Wi-Fi options.
