Why was Robocop a fried chicken pitchman in Japan? Who thought making an E.T. porno was a good idea? Why the hell was there an episode of Webster that took place on the bridge of the Enterprise? These questions have boggled the minds of science fiction fans for decades now, and Sci-Fi Explosion will answer them all! Join host Chris Cummins (Den of Geek, Uproxx) and special guests comedian Glen Tickle and Carmen Martella III (as a parody of Skeletor) for an evening of weird science fiction clips, trivia and music that celebrates the stranger side of sci-fi.  Includes prizes from Funko Toys, TV Store Online and Quirk Books. a

Glen Tickle will be a special guest.  Glenn is a writer and comedian. He once bow tie raced Bill Nye the Science Guy and lost. It wasn’t even close. Not even a little. He really blew it. Tickle excels at Dr. Mario, but has yet to find a real world use for this skill.  Follow him on Twitter: @glentickle
